The basis of reconstructive surgery is the repair of all acquired or congenital tissue and organ losses affecting the skin, subcutaneous and bones on the body surface. In this context, for example, attached fingers, traumatic burns, different incisions and limb amputations, chronic wounds, and vascular masses such as hemangiomas are included in this surgical discipline.<\/p><p>The main focus of the treatment of wounds or scars, which is one of the most frequently performed surgical interventions within the scope of plastic surgery, is generally the healing of wounds leaving a scar in every healthy person. Surgical interventions also cause tissue injury and scarring. Similarly, burns are also considered one of the important causes of scars. Therefore, many methods offered by advanced technology can be applied by expert doctors for patients who are disturbed by scars. The focus of treatment of non-healing wounds is on conditions such as vascular occlusion, bedridden status, or chronic wounds that do not heal due to reasons such as diabetes. One of the most important procedures of plastic surgery is wound care.
