Cellular/tissue therapy is the transplantation of human cells or tissue-engineered products to replace or repair damaged tissue and/or cells. Innovative products produced with new generation technologies can be used in the treatment of many diseases and conditions or as part of the treatment. Some of the cellular products that can be used include hematopoietic stem cells, bone marrow-derived stem cells, mesenchymal stem cells, lymphocytes, dendritic cells and pancreatic islet cells, and tissue products such as fibroblast, amniotic membrane, chondroblast, bone graft.
